In short

What people ask most

How much does a tattoo cost?
The final price depends on size, placement and detail: I name it after we discuss the design and before the session starts. The minimum session price is on the Prices page.
How much is a sleeve or a full back piece?
Those are large projects: I price them by time and volume, so the figure comes after we discuss the design. They are usually done over several sessions.
What is included in the price?
The artist’s work, a design made for your idea and your anatomy, sterile materials and aftercare advice. Consumables are already in the price.
Does a tattoo hurt?
Sensation is individual, but the pattern holds: shoulder, forearm, thigh and calf are easier, while neck, collarbone, ribs, hand and fingers are more sensitive. A session can be split with breaks, and for a first piece we choose an easier spot.
How long is a session?
A small piece takes half an hour to an hour, a medium one two to four hours. Large projects run over several sessions, usually three to five hours each.
How do I prepare?
Sleep well, eat a couple of hours before, no alcohol the day before, bring water and something sweet, and wear comfortable clothing that leaves the area free.
Can I bring my own design?
Yes. Bring an idea, references or a finished drawing: I adapt it to the placement, size and anatomy — or draw my own from your references. The design is agreed before the session: changes and redraws are part of the work.
First tattoo — where do I start?
The process is the same: a conversation, a design, the session, aftercare. If you are nervous, say so up front: we go through everything in advance and can pick a placement that is easy to cover.
Can I get a small tattoo?
Yes. Even a very small piece is drawn for you individually here, not taken from a template online.
Can a sleeve or a back piece be done in one go?
Almost never: work of that size is split across sessions, which keeps the detail and lets the skin recover.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
It depends on the size and on your skin: the surface settles in about two weeks, the skin fully renews within two months. The day-by-day guide is on the Aftercare page.
What cream should I use, and do I need the film?
I name the cream and the film timing after the session — it depends on the piece and the placement. One rule holds: a thin layer, the skin should breathe rather than sit in cream.
Can I train, shower, swim or use a sauna?
For the first days, avoid sweating and stretching the area. A shower is fine, but no scrubbing the piece and no long steam. Gym, pool, sauna, banya and open water wait until the skin has closed.
Can I sunbathe or use a sunbed?
Not on a fresh tattoo: the pigment fades and the skin inflames. Keep it covered while it heals, then use SPF.
What if it is not healing well?
If there is strong redness, swelling, pain or a fever, write to me and we look at it together. That is not something to sit through.
How is a temporary tattoo different from a real one?
Temporary ones are transfers, henna or a promise of “a year”: they last from a few days to a couple of months and leave no pigment under the skin. Even “one-year” tattoos usually last weeks. A real tattoo is pigment under the skin: it heals and stays for life.
Do you do temporary tattoos?
No — only real ones, pigment under the skin. If you are unsure about a permanent piece, come and talk it through: starting with something small often shows you how you feel about it.
Do you work with models for tattoos?
Yes — large pieces sometimes need a model, someone willing to lend their skin to a project. Terms are agreed for the specific piece: write on Telegram or WhatsApp with a photo of the area and the rough size.
Can an old tattoo be covered or corrected?
Covering it up — often yes: I look at the old piece first and say honestly what will come of it, and sometimes refreshing works better. Removal is a separate procedure done by laser clinics; I do not do it.
What is the minimum age for a tattoo?
18 and over, in person, with a passport. It is not a formality.
How can I see the work in person?
The portfolio on the site is the studio’s whole body of work. If a style you want is thin on it, write to me — I will show more from the archive.
Placements

Where tattoos go

Small tattoos and large projects, a first piece or an addition to a sleeve — the placement is chosen for the idea. If you are not sure what suits you, we work it out together.

Hand and wrist

Small pieces, lettering, fine line. It is a visible spot, so the design gets extra care.

Forearm and sleeve

Room for large pieces and sleeves: graphics, blackwork, realism. Usually several sessions.

Shoulder and collarbone

Hold a line well and suit large elements: the piece reads both under clothes and without them.

Back

The largest canvas: whole compositions and big subjects. Long sessions, but the idea fits entire.

Thigh and calf

Large pieces that are easy to cover. The thigh is the classic place for a first big project.

Neck and behind the ear

Small pieces. An exposed spot, so the design and how it will read in years gets thought through first.
